English Recitation Competition

Modeled after the recitation competition which is held every year, students of class III and IV  got yet another opportunity to recite the poetry during the morning hours on 23rd Aug and 30th Aug respectively. Each section of both classes did their rounds of poem recitation along with their class fellows before the panel of judges consisting of educators and audiences. Panelists used the scoring rubrics and assigned marks to the evaluation criteria. Evaluation was done on the basis of memory, presentation, expressions and pronunciation .There was a tie between the two highest scoring sections in class III.

Double Wicket Cricket Tournament

A double wicket cricket tournament was organized in our school under the aegis of Cricket Australia Program in which 32 students participated. The students played as a team of two and the winning pair was Saamir Baig and Arnav Jaipuria. They defeated the pair of Pawan Karamchandani and Deepak Longwani. The prize distribution was done by the eminent cricketer Mr Sumit Khatri (a part of IPL Rajasthan Royals team and also Ranji Trophy team)


The winners are as follows:

Small Hand Big Art Competition

A ‘Small Hand Big Art Competition’ was held as part of the Art Olympiad 2014 at Bengaluru.
Some paintings from our school were sent as part of the competition, out of which paintings of two students namely Radhika Ramdev and Arihant Mittal of class IX were selected.They were then invited to attend a workshop organized by Lalit Kala Academy at Delhi from 26th to 29th of May, 2014.

The Chief Guest of the workshop was the famous artist and Padma Bhushan Awardee Mr Jatin Das. He shared his valuable tips with the attendees and encouraged them to follow their passion. He also presented the certificates to the students. The workshop was a very enriching experience for them. Radhika and Arihant also received scholarship cheques.

Scouts and Guides-Day Camp

The school had organized a day camp for the ‘Scouts and Guides’ of The Palace School on the 12th of May, 2014. There were 60 scouts and guides who participated in the camp from class 6th to 9th. The camp was inspected by Mrs Vandana Bagadiya (Joint State Secretary), Mr L R Sharma (CO Scouts), Mrs Gagan Deep Kaur(CO, Guides), Mr Jagdish Narayan (LA Secretary) and Mrs Urvashi Warman (Headquarter Commisioner Guide and Principal, The Palace School). There was a slogan writing competition which was held and the topic was ‘Save the Environment’ and the scouts and guides along with the eminent guests also planted some trees. The students also placed grains and water for the birds at various places in the school premises. The children prepared various dishes which were relished by the guests as well as the children themselves. The Chief Guest talked to the children and called the ‘Scouts and Guides’ of The Palace School the role model for other schools.

The motive of the camp was to save the environment, to make Jaipur a clean and green city to be kind towards birds and to make us self dependent.

NSTSE Achievements

The National Level Science Talent Search Examination 2014 again saw our bright and meritorious students bring laurels to the school.

The Class Toppers from their respective classes are as follows:

Krishna Mansinghka from Class 2 , Krish Garg and Dhruv Goyal from Class 3, Atiksh Gidwani from Class 4, Yatin Patni from Class 6 and Bhavya Sharma from Class 7.


Heartiest Congratulations to Siddharth Kothari for being the National Achiever. He secured ALL India Rank 39 !!

The students were felicitated and congratulated by Mrs Urvashi Warman, our Principal Madam and were presented the gold medals and merit certificates.

Siddharth Kothari  and Sankalp Kothari of class 6 were also felicitated by Principal Madam for performing remarkably well in the various Olympiads held during the last couple of years !!!
