“ THE MOST WONDERFUL PEOPLE ON THIS EARTH DONOT FIT IN BOXES”
Tori Amos

No two individuals can be exact replicas of each other. The differences, however subtle will always be there. Each individual, each child has strength in him/her but in some this strength is buried under layers and layers of self doubt and a deep sense of worthlessness. This degenerating sense of worthlessness is a direct consequence of the expectations not being met. These expectations more often than not ignore the individual differences and inevitably focus on the performance in school. These expectations stem from parents, teachers and peers. These expectations highlight the weaknesses of the child and often ignore the strength.
The need of the hour is to acknowledge the diversity and celebrate the differences within children. All children are capable of learning and it’s up to us to teach them the way they learn.

Let’s help ourselves to help children who need us to hold their hand till they are sure of walking the path on their own…
Let’s help ourselves to try not to fit all children in the “boxes” but ignite the fire in them to be proud of being out of the box.
It’s difficult but not impossible.
