Republic Day Celebration

The 63rd Republic Day of our country was celebrated in our school with the young Indians who put up a colourful program to rejoice in the National festival.

The day’s celebration began with the Tricolour being hoisted by our Respected Principal ma’am, followed by a series of performances to commemorate this important milestone in the history of our country.

On this very day our Constitution came into force, and so the presenting of the Preamble by the students was the highlight of the day, which was reminiscent of the sovereignty, equality, justice and fraternity promoted by our Constitution.

The patriotic song, “Shat Shat Naman, Janam Bhumi Ko” filled everyone’s heart with an unmatched patriotic fervor.

The freedom fighters, who were instrumental in making India free from the shackles of British rule, were honoured in a unique way by the tiny tots of our school. Enacting out their inspirational slogans such as ‘ Inqalab Zindabad’, ‘Tum Mujhe Khoon Do, Mein Tumhe  Azaadi Doonga’ and ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’ etc reminded everyone of the grit, courage and sacrifices made by them for their motherland.

An instrumental presentation of ‘Sare Jahan Se Achcha’, so melodiously put together with the notes of harmonium, table, sitar and violin invited a thunderous applause from everyone present.

No national festival celebration is complete without the humming and chanting of “Vande Mataram”. The dance performance on “Ehsas Thoda Toh Jagaye Apne Dilon Mein” was a wonderful ode to our country, by the young dynamic Indians, who are the face of new India.

We hope that with each passing year, our country takes the shape of the dream country that it needs to be, and that it ought to be .

Jai Hind !!
