Keeping in line with the secular ethos of The Palace School, the children celebrated Eid and Teej in school. Special assembly was conducted in school where the students spoke about the significance of the festivals and presented songs and dances to bring across the spirit of the festivals.
Level I & II and Class I & II students were taken for a visit to The City Palace where they witnessed the idol worship of ‘Teej Mata’ and the girls applied ‘henna’ on their palms. They were extremely happy to be a part of the festivities at the palace.
To make the celebration even more memorable ‘Ghevar ‘ and Sivayyian’ was distributed in school for the students to relish and enjoy.
