RED LETTER DAY FOR LEVEL – I STUDENTS

Dear Parents,

Level – I children joined the school on April 07. I want to go to mummy” is usually what one gets to hear from screaming children petrified of the alien environment at school. But not on the first day, It was a pleasant surprise to see majority of children take to the day’s activity like fish to water. Barring a few cry babies most of the children played happily with toys, puzzles and other Montessori equipments kept in the classroom. We even had a few confident young ones walk up boldly to the teacher asking her to help them to make new friends!

Then there was another child who demanded that he be awarded a ‘star’ as he had been good enough to finish his entire tiffin !

We had another tiny fellow bribing his teacher by saying,” Listen you please call my mother right away. If you do that I will take you out to Triton Mall!”

The best was the child who played happily throughout the day and started bawling his lungs out on seeing his mother as he did not wish to go back home !

On this happy note I take this opportunity to extend a very warm welcome to all the new children and their parents to The Palace School fraternity.

Here’s wishing a happy and fruitful fourteen years of schooling with us.

Best Wishes to All

Warm Regards,

Mrs. Urvashi Warman

Warm welcome to all my dear students and the parents.

A very warm welcome to all my dear students and the parents to the new academic session 2011-12.

Carrying the baton of success from last year to this year we are looking forward to many more feats being achieved by our school in this session too.

I am so proud to announce that with class VI being launched we have laid the foundation of the senior wing of our school. And this has ushered in the extremely desirable CCE pattern too in the school curriculum for class VI, to be filtered down to Primary wing in the following sessions.

To throw some light on the CCE pattern, I would just like to say that it aims at keeping track of a child’s progress on a continuous basis, incorporating both scholastic and co-scholastic areas of the learner’s development. In a nutshell, it would reduce stress on the student and enable the holistic development of the student, which undoubtedly, is the need of the hour.

We believe in constantly evolving and keeping ourselves abreast with the latest in every aspect in the field of education. To keep in sync with the ever changing IT sector we have introduced LINUX platform for class VI in their computer syllabus. We aim at making our students conversant with the cutting edge technology and up-to-the-minute happenings around the world, so as to enable them to face the future challenges with aplomb and panache.

Another proud feather to be added in our cap is the introduction of Robotics classes as a compulsory activity for classes IV to VI aimed at igniting the passionate and zealous budding future scientists. The program would enhance the logical ability of students and help them understand science in a practical manner.

So here’s to an amazing session 2011-12.

Best Wishes to All

Warm Regards,

Mrs. Urvashi Warman
