Contest Winner

It is with great pride that we announce that Samaira Luhadia of class I from The Palace School won the title of Miss Cutie Beauty at an inter school competition  organized at Janki Devi Public School, Jaipur.

She was crowned by Mr Anil Kapoor, the Chief Guest for the finale.

Samaira cleared the preliminary rounds of the cutie beauty contest such as ‘Bani Thani’, ‘Western Wear’, ‘Sports Wear’ and the ‘Princess Round’. She clinched the title in the final round as she walked the ramp and very confidently said “I am the most beautiful Princess of my parents”.

Cricket Tour to Jhalawar

A Cricket Team from Jaipur went to Jhalawar to participate in the Elite Camp and to play Cricket Matches (U-16) from the 7th of Jan., to 12th of Jan., 2014. organized between Cricket Australia Program Team (Rajasthan)  and Jhalawar District Cricket Association.

The Jaipur Team comprised of students from The Palace School, G D Goenka, Step by Step International, Janki Devi, Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School and Step by Step High School.

Hameer & Harshil

From The Palace School, Harshil Agrawal and Hameer Singh Rathore were selected as part of the team.

The team played a total of four matches out of which two were won and two lost. Besides the matches the players also got to learn a lot about the various techniques which would help them to improve their skills in the future.

We are indeed proud of the budding cricketers and wish them all the best for their future.

We did it !! The Palace School ranked 4th in Rajasthan

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that The Palace School has been ranked 4th in Rajasthan in the Co-ed Day Schools Rankings 2013 compiled by Education World.

Award for School

Since 2007, Education World (estb. 1999) has been commissioning perception based field studies to compile league tables of India’s most respected and admired primary and secondary schools. The objective of this elaborate annual exercise is to proclaim and track the progress of the country’s best schools-some of whom are as good as any worldwide-as role models to the entire community of educators.

The Education World India School Rankings league tables are compiled in collaboration with the well reputed Delhi based market research and opinion polls company ‘Centre for Forecasting Pvt Ltd (C Fore, estb. 2000)

The publication of rankings based on robust assessment parameters is an annual exercise followed by Education World India School Rankings Awards Nite during which the best of the country’s schools are celebrated and felicitated.

 Mrs Urvashi Warman, our Principal, received the award at the Awards Nite held on Saturday,14th Sept, ’13 at The Lalit, New Delhi, beaming with pride and happiness.

We are extremely proud and happy for having attained such a remarkable feat in such a short span of time. We are extremely grateful to Princess Diya Kumari ji, our Founder, Mrs Urvashi Warman, our Principal, all the staff members, students and the parents for their continued guidance, support and trust placed in us. 

We do sincerely hope and aim to improve this ranking in the years to follow.

School Students’ Proposal For Jaipur Metro

 

DSC01472The Palace School’s pro-active social awareness program got a big boost as students of classes VI to VIII did a research on fare structure proposal for Jaipur Metro. They were represented by Aayushi Gupta and Abhinav Jain who submitted their proposal signed by some 150 students to the Chairman cum Managing Director Mr. N C Goel and other board members on 16th Aug, ’13. The proposal was for:

(i)           Charging a flat rate of Rs. 10/- irrespective of distance covered by all students in school uniform.

(ii)         Rs. 10/- for the 1st km/station and Rs 5/- thereafter for every subsequent station for all adults and commuters.

(iii)        Rechargeable card facility (top-up) be offered to avoid unnecessary queues at the metro stations. The top-up sum be unlimited for unlimited usage and time.

(iv)        Timing: 5:00 am to midnight
